Wüsthof Classic Ham Knife Alveolated Round Tip 26 cm
This Wüsthof Classic ham knife is enhanced with a long, thin and somewhat flexible blade. In this way, you have great control over the knife when cutting very thin slices of meat or fish. Think carpaccio (of salmon) or thin slices of ham. Blade dimples ensure air entry between product and blade. Thus, the slices do not stick to the sheet.
Wüsthof Classic blade : very sharp stainless steel
The chrome vanadium steel (X50CrMoV15) blade is forged from a single piece of steel. It is sharpened according to the Wüsthof PEtec technology. This means that for each blade the sharpening angle is determined with the help of a computer. It is then precisely honed on a wet whetstone. After a thorough inspection, each knife rolls off the production line, ready for a lifetime of heavy use.
Wüsthof processes the steel in a specific way to ensure that it has a high hardness of 58 Rockwell. Thus, the knife retains its sharpness for a long time. However, if you notice that the knife is not as sharp as before, it is enough to pass it through a steel. The result is a very sharp knife that is amazing to use.
Wüsthof Classic handle : sustainable and hygienic
This knife is a combination of a forged blade and an ergonomic handle made of black POM, a highly sustainable type of plastic. The handle can resist all substances found in the kitchen. The handle is traditional, and of course seamless, attached to the blade with three rivets. Thus, dirt cannot accumulate between the blade and the handle. The cutout protects fingers from unnecessary contact with the cutting edge.
