The Oaxaca collection by Gastón and Daniela is inspired by the engravings of exotic Central American birds by the German naturalist biologist Ernst Haeckel.
The Oaxaca collection is based on the Aurora shape, a soft and elegant design made without sharp edges or deep angles. This design allows the shine of the stoneware to flow through the entire piece.
The decorative pattern of the border is inspired by the imaginary landscapes of the Indian Ocean with floral elements full of exoticism. And as a chromatic base, a border that surrounds the pieces in intense and vibrant colours: Pure Yellow. In the centre, there are motifs of tropical fauna and flora selected from the entire iconography of Gastón and Daniela's textile elements.
After almost 200 years, the master formula that, in the right proportions, results in the fine earthenware characteristic of La Cartuja de Sevilla still maintains its same components.
